Hall of Fame: Robert Carson

Robert Carson

Induction: April 20, 1996

Bob Carson attended Jewell from 1953-57. He was a four year letter winner in both basketball and track. He was also the Cardinals career scoring and rebounding leader at the time of his graduation. Carson still holds the school record of 24 rebounds in a single game. Carson’s athletic abilities were apparent when he became the conference high jump champ. He took this title all four years. He now holds the WJC record for high jump at 6’5” ½”. Additionally he won the long jump title three times and was the co-captain in each sport.
