Dr. Armstrong holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. from Georgetown University. His special interests include American foreign policy and international conflict.
Rein Staal, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Political Science

Dr. Staal received a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He completed both an M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of California at Berkeley. Political philosophy, American political thought and politics and literature are his specialties.
Alan Holiman, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Political Science

Dr. Holiman received a B.A. from the University of Arkansas, an M.A. from Ohio State University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. His speciality is Russian politics.
