The Visit Coordinator is responsible for creating a positive visit experience for all prospective students and their families. The Coordinator designs and implements all major campus visits programs for the Office of Admission. In addition, this position supervises the College’s Innkeeper (overnight student host) program, designated student workers, and the Cardinal Blazers (campus tour guides) program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans and implements major on campus visit programs for prospective students, families, and counselors.
- Coordinates the planning and implementation of Cardinal Days, the College’s pre-orientation and registration programs for new students.
- Develops and coordinates strategies to improve event participation.
- Works with the Visit Team to facilitate all aspects of the personal campus visit.
- Coordinates with the institutional calendar and secondary school calendar to find the best opportunities for campus visit days.
- Works with the office’s publication liaison to develop visit brochures throughout the year.
- Tracks demographics concerning campus visits each week.
- Serves as the liaison for faculty and coaches as they relate to visit processes and programs.
- Recruits, trains and supervises the Cardinal Blazers.
- Recruits, trains and supervises the College’s Innkeepers. 11. Hires, trains, and serves as the lead supervisor for all of the Office of Admission student workers.
- Oversees the scheduling of the Doniphan Room.
- Appropriately corresponds with prospective students, their parents, guidance counselors, and others regarding college visit events and individual visits.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs and the Dean of Admission.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Previous admission experience preferred (knowledge of campus visit programs preferred
Working Conditions
Normal working/office hours required. Position also requires work on some weekends for Office of Admission recruitment events and other College-related events.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct supervisory responsibility for all of the Office of Admission student workers.
