Procedure for approval of transfer credit for Lang 211 requirement
What meets the Lang 211 requirements?
A course equivalent to Lang 211 is the last course of a 12-hour sequence of courses. This course may be either a 3 or 4 hour credit course.
Courses must be approved in advance by doing the following:
· Pick up a WJC Approval for Study form from the Registrar
· Print description of course sequence (100-200 courses) from which the course will be selected and attach a copy of these descriptions to the Approval for study form
· Get advisor’s signature on form
· Take form to Registrar for final approval
Languages Department approval is not required as long as the transfer course meets the above conditions.
Note: Once a student has completed 64 hours, the student may not transfer work from a community or junior college, except with permission from the Dean of the College. (See page 18 of the WJC course catalogue 2005-2007.)
