Mayumi Sakata Derendinger, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Derendinger received her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed postdoctoral study at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her emphasis is in number theory, operator theory, and differential equations. Dr. Deredinger joined the faculty in 2004. (Mayumi Sakata Derendinger's Homepage)
Dr. Houska received his Ph.D. from Washington University in 2009. His primary research interests lie in Fourier analysis and in the theory and applications of wavelets. (Robert Houska's Homepage)
Dr. Nicholson received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. His emphasis is in knot theory, a branch of topology. Specifically, he is interested in the relationships between knot invariants, piecewise-linear knots, and virtual knots. Dr. Nicholson joined the faculty in 2007. (Neil Nicholson's Homepage)
Patrick Bunton, Ph.D. Professor of Physics
