WJC 2 MANU 0 in Liberty, MO

The men's JV team squared off in Liberty, MO against MidAmerica Nazarene University in the finale of the home-and-home series. Jewell won the first match 3-2 after falling behind 2-0. This game continued the trend of how the first match ended, as WJC controlled play for much of the game. However, it looked as if the first half would end in scoreless, until Nash Waters played Garret Jahn a short freekick with less than 10 seconds left. Jahn took a couple of touches, put the ball on his right foot and hit a 35-yard bomb into the far right corner of the net, just before time expired. That jolt helped the teams confidence in the second stanza as they had numerous scoring opportunities and moved the ball around extremely well. Forward Prince Adu-Krow iced the game in the 80th minute with his second goal of the JV season. The back line, consisting mostly of Jerome Goehring, Noah Nash, and Alex Hart with goalkeeper Matt Waid were again top-notch in preserving the 2-0 shutout.

Goals: Garrett Jahn (Nash Waters)
Prince Adu-Krow (UA)
