WJC Men Score 14 Goals in Win
After a 9 goal outburst in a win a couple of days earlier, William Jewell College men's soccer team continued their high octane attack on Thursday night by winning 14-1 at University of St. Mary's in Leavenworth, Kansas. Freshman forward Matt Happy scored 4 goals in the win. Sophomore midfielder Austin Williams added 3 goals while senior midfielder Dusty Green and freshman midfielder Josh Ehrhard each scored twice. Senior midfielder Allan Nekuda and freshman forward Michael Brown each scored once. Freshman midfielder Manny Tovar had five assists in the victory and Allan Nekuda provided four assists. "We scored early and we played well," said WJC Head Coach Chris Cissell. "There were many excellent goals scored in this game."
