Congratulations! You've been accepted for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Now it's time to get you ready to go!! In the table at the right, find your program and period abroad. Once you click that link, you will discover three types of resources:
- pdf files including WJC information and paperwork you MUST read and complete by the end of the semester during which you were accepted;
- if available, pdf files of or links to information from your program abroad; if not available, you will receive that information during COL 220, Student Study Abroad Orientation;
- links to other useful information about: services you might need, health and safety, and travel.
The table of contents provided will be your guide through these resources. Focus on the WJC information and paperwork first. Most of it should not take much time; however, you will want to get started IMMEDIATELY on your passport and on your doctor’s certificate, because those pieces take the most time. Study the information from your program abroad and the other useful information at your leisure; you will want to familiarize yourself with what information is available before you go, and you may want to consult the information again while you are abroad or when you return home.
Let the journey begin!!
