Dr. Armstrong received a B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. from Georgetown University. His special interests include American foreign & security policies, international relations theory, international conflict & war ethics, and international political economy.
Rein Staal, Ph.D. Professor of Political Science staalr@william.jewell.edu
Dr. Staal received a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He completed both an M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of California at Berkeley. Political philosophy, American political thought and politics and literature are his specialties.
Alan Holiman, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Political Science holimana@william.jewell.edu
Dr. Holiman received a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Arkansas, an M.A. degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University, an M.A. degree in Russian & East European Studies and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Kansas. His special interests include comparative politics (Russia and other post-communist states, European integration, the Islamic Republic of Iran) and American politics.
