Our People

Todd Long is the Director of Leadership Training and Development at the Pryor Center for Leadership Development at William Jewell College. Previously, he was the Director of the Tucker Leadership Lab - one of the largest experiential challenge courses in the nation. He has over 13 years of experience in experiential learning and organizational training and development. Todd has worked with corporate, nonprofit, educational, and church groups consulting, designing, and implementing training programs to help build more cohesive teams and effective leaders. Todd’s career also included working for Harvsters in the community relations department and Weight Watchers International as an area trainer. Todd loves to give people learning experiences that lead to “awe-ha” moments.

Todd has been married for 13 years and has three children: an 8 year-old son, a 5 year-old daughter, and a 1 year old daughter.

Leta Anderson - Facilitator, Trainer, & JRT Administrator - Leta’s experience in the arena of training and development began over 10 years ago as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Over the years, Leta has drawn on those experiences in her roles as trainer, facilitator, and motivational speaker. With a passion for training and public speaking, Leta also thrives on using her technical and analytical skills through the Jewell Round Table. Other outlets for her energy are acting in community theatre and outdoor adventures with her husband.

Jim Davis helps individuals and organizations explore new possibilities.

Over the past 25 years Jim has developed a “tool box” filled with interactive initiatives and challenges designed to excite conversation, shine light on unquestioned assumptions, and uncover unexplored potential.

Jim has been facilitating change and discovery for almost three decades. He partners with corporations large and small, non-profits, schools, and individuals. He assists culture change during mergers and acquisitions, re-organizations, major systems implementation, and leadership transfers.

Jim has taught change management and assisted leadership teams in getting the most out of long range planning conversations. Jim also continues to work with school-aged kids on team building and communication skills.

Cheryle Grinter - Cheryle is a trainer and facilitator with 23 years experience working with diverse populations. She has a B.S. in Psychology & has facilitated groups on the ropes course and in the classroom. Her experience allows her to step outside the group and observe its function & focus & modify initiatives to meet the group goals. Cheryle was a Facilitator at Adventure Woods & an independent consultant working nationally prior to joining Tucker Leadership Lab. She has worked with a variety of groups including early childhood education, at-risk students & top executives in large corporations. When not working, she regularly volunteers for the MS Society & also maintains a career in real estate. She & her husband Bob live on wooded acreage where she enjoys the wildlife and outdoors. Her hobbies include gardening, scrap booking, arts and crafts, and playing with her grandchildren.
