What are the commuter times?
Commuters arrive each morning at 9am at the dorms and can be picked up each night at 9pm from the dorms.
They eat lunch and dinner in the café, with the camp, but not breakfast.
They will be assigned a room to change and store their belonging during camp, too.

Are there spots still available?
My voice mail is updated constantly during the summer. Please check often for availability.
Last year (06) was our first year where we had to officially “Close” camp! With Residential camps, we are limited by room availability in the dorms. Day and Evening camps will always have space available. Yet we still need to know in advance, so that if needed we can add more coaches to keep our camper/coach ratio low!
Moral of the story: Register EARLY please!!!!!!!

Do you take Credit Card?
Yes, We can take Master Card, Visa and Discover.
If filling out your registration form, please make sure to include your CID #. (This is the 3 digit number on the back side of your credit card, at the end of your card number)
Jewell cannot process your payment without these numbers!
NEW THIS YEAR!!!!!---Online enrollment---If paying by credit card, try our new enrollment form online. No paper work, no stamps, and the relief of knowing we received your registration immediately!

What is the camper to coach ratio?
We pride ourselves in keeping our camper to coach ratio low. With proper enrollment we are able to plan accordingly, and keep our ratios between 8 /1 or 10/1

All meals are served in the Jewell cafeteria. There are several choices at each meal. And seconds are available at each meal. Besides the daily meal choices there is also a salad bar, cereal bar, and fruit bar, with plenty of beverages to keep our campers hydrated.

Where do I send my Roommate Request/medical waiver?
Room mate requests can always be emailed to the camp email address,
Medical waiver must be signed and accompany proof of insurance. Please mail these to

Will my child need to bring money to camp?
Yes.
• There is a CAMP STORE, where the campers will be able purchase candy, candy bars, chips, Gatorades, mini-balls, etc…. NEW!!!This year we are hoping to expand the camp store to include extra soccer balls, T-shirts, soccer socks, and all soccer essentials.
• Tuesday nights at camp are also PIZZA night. Each camper is allowed to order their own pizza to be delivered to camp.
• Typically we have Hawiaan Shaved Ice available each night for our campers.
• Room Keys—there will be a $25 fee for each lost room key

How many campers to a room?
Typically there are only 2 campers per room. Depending on the dorm we are assigned, there may be 1 or 2 larger rooms. We always try to group TEAMS next to each other on the same hall. Occassionally, we can fit 3 to a room, by dragging a mattress in from another room.
