Volleyball: Coaching Staff
 Allison Jones Head Volleyball Coach
Allison Jones begins her sixth year as Jewell's head women’s volleyball coach at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.
Jones, who received her B.A. from William Woods University and her M.S. from Northwest Missouri State University, has a strong volleyball background that includes a successful playing career at William Woods University, where she played volleyball four years and was 20th in the NAIA national stats in “Passing Percentage.” After graduation she coached volleyball, softball and basketball at Westminster College for five years. She was also the head volleyball coach for five years at Washburn University, a NCAA Div. II program.
Jones was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2005 and led the 2006 squad to their second ever regular season conference title. Jones can be reached at 816-415-5961. To email coach Jones click here.
 Eric Majors Assistant Volleyball Coach
Coach Majors enters his second season as an assistant for William Jewell. Eric has coached at nearly every level of volleyball possible. During his 15 years of coaching he has been a Head Coach at the Club, High School, and Collegiate levels. Majors has been a head coach at Piper High School, Longview Community College and was an assistant coach at Graceland University and Avila University. Eric has also coached for numerous Club programs in the Kansas City area.
Coach Majors began his volleyball career playing at the Club level in High School. After graduating High School, he attended Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, where he competed on teams that finished 2nd, 5th and 9th at the NIRSA Collegiate Nationals. Eric continued playing on the USAV Mens Team with 4 Championships at the AA/Level. His Adult teams have finished in the top 15 of the Open AA Division Nationals 4 times as well.
