Athletics: Volleyball 2007-08

The Volleyball program at William Jewell is on the rise. The team has made two trips to regional play in the last two years. Since entering the Heart of America Athletic Conference in 1976 the Cardinals have won two conference championships including one in 2006. Over the years Jewell has placed numerous players on the HAAC All-Conference team, including six players in 2006.

Cardinal Volleyball players also perform well in the classroom. The team placed 14 players on the Jewell Scholar athlete team in 2006, and has had representatives on the Academic All-American team over the years as well.

The team is led by fourth year head coach Allison Jones who was named HAAC Coach of the year in 2005.
