Holiday Celebrations

December Graduation Celebration Join us for a celebration with December graduates at 7 p.m. December 15 in John Gano Memorial Chapel. A reception will follow in the White Atrium of Yates-Gill College Union.
Cardinal Term William Jewell will offer a series of free seminars, public lectures, film screenings and other activities during the new “Cardinal Term” running January 10-19. The events are free and open to the public. The non-credit courses will be taught by alumni, faculty and friends of the College.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for the seminars to allow for adequate classroom space. Enrollment will close as space fills. Click here for course listings and enrollment forms. The deadline for pre-registration is January 8.
Stocksdale Gallery Exhibit The photographs of Gigi Kaeser are featured in a touring exhibit titled “Love Makes a Family” at the Stocksdale Gallery (top floor of Brown Hall). The exhibit will run through December 11. The gallery is open to the public at no charge Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The exhibit is sponsored by Grace Episcopal Church of Liberty and William Jewell.

- Parthenia, Early-Music Ensemble with soprano Julianne Baird, 8 p.m. December 19, Folly Theater
Corbin Theatre Events
- December 18 and 19 – A Christmas Carol, comic adaptation of Dickens’ classic story presented with Omnibus Theatre, 8 p.m.; $15
- December 21 – Bluegrass on the Square with Uncle Baccy Juice old-time country string band music, 7 p.m.; $5-7 donation at the door
