Campus Life
Some of the most important lessons you’ll learn at William Jewell are actually about yourself. Your experiences outside the classroom help to shape the person you’re becoming, and there are plenty of activities that provide a balance to academic life.
Thirty-eight nationally affiliated and 33 campus-wide organizations offer a range of experiences, from service organizations to the campus radio station and newspaper. Our four fraternities and four sororities provide alternative living-and-learning options. Students receive free tickets to the college’s Harriman-Jewell Series events, which features performances by such artists as STOMP, Wynton Marsalis with The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and Broadway plays and musicals.
To find out more about what campus life has to offer at Jewell you may want to check out The Hilltop Monitor, or listen to our web radio station, The Edge.
Video Highlight
Walk Around the Quad The Pipes & Drums of Ararat Shrine bagpipers lead the Fall 2008 incoming class around Jewell's historic campus Quad.
These students will also have a chance to repeat the same walk as graduating seniors in 2012. |
