What deadlines should I meet?
You should be aware of the following critical dates to submit applications and for award notification.
- December 1
All students, who wish to have full consideration for any scholarship or grant funded by William Jewell College, including academic, need-based and talent awards, should submit a completed application by December 1. See a list of the available Academic Scholarships and Awards for further detail.
- January 1
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available from your high school guidance office, William Jewell Financial Aid and Scholarship Services, or on the web at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- February 15
Missouri Teacher Education Scholarship (Missouri residents only).
- March 1
Suggested deadline for completing the FAFSA.
- April 1
Absolute FAFSA receipt deadline at the Federal Processor (including signature requirements) for Charles Gallagher Grant and Missouri College Guarantee Program (Missouri residents only).
- September 15
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program first priority deadline (awarded on funds-available basis).
Here is a simple fact: The earlier you apply for financial aid, the more opportunities and choices will be available to assist you in meeting your college costs. It is in your best interest to schedule a visit to William Jewell College if you haven't done so already. William Jewell College grants and scholarships are limited to full-time day division students only.
