Jessica Gracia has been named the new assistant athletic trainer at William Jewell College.
Gracia, a native of Wakefield, Kan., will assist head athletic trainer Jeff Snow with all aspects of the operations of William Jewell’s athletic training program. “We are thrilled to add Jessica to our staff,” said athletic director Dr. Darlene Bailey. “She has great energy and her experience working with student-athletes over the last several years will help benefit our athletic training program.”
Gracia most recently worked as the athletic trainer for Eudora High School in Eudora, Kan. She has also worked as an assistant athletic trainer for the University of Saint Mary. Gracia earned her bachelor's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training in 2002 from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan. While at Fort Hays State, she served as a student athletic trainer working with all 12 of the university's varsity sports programs. Gracia also has a master's degree in Sports Administration from the University of Kansas where she served one year as a graduate assistant working primarily with the Jayhawks softball program.
