William Jewell volleyball signs recruit

Brooke Wininger has signed a Letter of Intent to compete as part of the William Jewell College volleyball program in the fall of 2009.
A native of Auburn, Neb., Wininger attends Johnson-Brock High School. She is a three sport standout that also plays for her club volleyball team. She is a four-year letter winner in volleyball and was named to the first team All-Pioneer Conference and also received first team All-State Tournament Honors while leading her team to the state tournament this past season.
“Brooke will be an outstanding addition to our squad” said head coach Allison Jones. “She’s a hard worker and she has the ability to come in and have an impact on our team this fall.”
Off the court, Winninger has been awarded Academic All-State in volleyball, basketball and track & field for the last two seasons.
