William Jewell volleyball signs recruit

Hannah Herndon has signed a Letter of Intent to join the William Jewell College volleyball program in the fall of 2009.
A native of Southlake, Texas, Herndon recently graduated from Southlake Carroll Senior High School completing a very successful varsity career that included two district championships and a regional semi-final. Over the past three years Herndon amassed a number of awards including Dallas/Fort Worth Area Top Ten Blockers, 6-5A All-District First Team, Academic All-District and Academic All-State. Herndon is also a four time Junior Olympian that included four Top 25 finishes.
“Hannah is an extremely versatile player on both offense and defense” said Head Coach Allison Jones. “Combined with remarkable commitment and a strong competitive nature, she is poised to make an immediate contribution to our team this fall.”
