William Jewell volleyball signs recruit

Gillian Gauss has signed a Letter of Intent to compete as part of the William Jewell College volleyball program in the fall of 2009.
A native of Dove Canyon, Calif., Gauss recently graduated from JSerra Catholic High School where she was the team captain and a four-year letter winner in volleyball. Additionally, she was named to the CIF-SS second team All-Trinity League and recognized as a scholar athlete. Gauss played six years of club volleyball, most recently at TCA Southern California Volleyball Club and was selected as an alternate on the 2007 SCVA/USA High Performance volleyball team.
“We lost a great setter in Tori Hallett but I am excited to add Gillian to our squad to compete at that spot” said head coach Allison Jones. “She is a great athlete and I believe she has the potential to accomplish great things here at Jewell.”
