Jewell Women’s Soccer Win Fifth Straight
William Jewell College women’s soccer team took the lead early and didn’t look back in their 6-1 victory over Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri. Junior midfielder Megan Gray scored twice in the first half as the Cardinals took a 2-1 lead into halftime.
Sophomore forward Nicole Revenaugh scored three goals in the second half and Sophomore midfielder Katie Brooks added another as the WJC Cardinals improved their record to 5 wins and only 1 loss.
“The team played a very good second half,” said WJC Head Coach Chris Cissell. “We’re playing quicker and smarter.”
WJC women’s soccer team’s next match will be September 27th at Central Methodist University in Fayette Missouri.
