William Jewell College women's soccer, currently ranked #24 in the nation, scored in the sixth minute of their home opener when Jewell sophomore forward Nicole Revenaugh fired an unstoppable shot into the goal that gave the Cardinals the lead over the Park University Pirates. Revenaugh's goal ended up being the only goal of the game as the Cardinals won 1-0 and improved their record to 3 wins and 1 loss. Park dropped their record to 4 wins and 2 losses.

"We played a solid game defensively tonight," said William Jewell’s head coach Chris Cissell. "Revenaugh's goal was nice and we created chances from all over the field."

The Lady Cards will host Morningside College on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
