WJC Women's Soccer Win 6-0
William Jewell College women's soccer team won 6-0 at Univerisity of St. Mary's in Leavenworth, Kansas Thursday afternoon. WJC sophomore forward Nicole Revenaugh scored for the third consecutive game to give the Cardinals a lead they would never surrender. Senior midfielder Celine Jajko scored with 1 second remaining in the first half to give WJC a 2-0 lead at the break. WJC dominated the second half with junior midfielder Megan Gray, junior midfielder Shanon Eberle, junior forward Rachel Obert and junior defender Erica Greco scoring in the second half to finish the scoring at 6-0. Greco's goal almost mirrored Jajko's 1st half buzzer beater with Greco scoring with 2 seconds remaining in the match. Freshman goalkeeper Rebecca Ewing and junior goalkeeper Michelle Fitzgerald shared the shutout. "This was a good team win with everyone contributing in the effort and six different players scoring," said WJC Head Coach Chris Cissell.
