Keli Braitman, Ph.D.


Professor and Chair Honors Institute, Psychological Science

Dr. Braitman teaches Introduction to Psychological Science, Statistics for Psychological Science, Personality Psychology, Capstone in Psychological Science, and Identity and Society. Her primary areas of research are in highway safety (distracted driving and young drivers) and the scholarship of teaching and learning. She serves as vice president of grants and awards for the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (Division 2 of the American Psychological Association). She is a recipient of the William Jewell Academic Advisor Award and serves as chair of the Department of Psychological Science.  She is the faculty advisor for Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
