Jewell on Money's Best Colleges in America for your Money

Money Magazine has chosen William Jewell for a spot on its list of 2020 Best Colleges in America for Your Money.

Money selected schools that “successfully combine quality and affordability,” weighing more than 20,000 data points, including tuition fees, family borrowing and career earnings. Researchers looked at colleges with more than 500 students, schools that were not in financial distress and had graduation rates above the median.

Of the 739 schools that made the list, researchers then ranked them on 27 factors, broadly weighted into three categories: quality of education, affordability and graduate outcomes. The rankings include such factors as graduation rate, instructor quality, Pell Grant recipient outcomes, net price, student debt and repayment, graduate earnings, socio-economic mobility index (students who move from low income to upper middle class by their mid-30s) and more. Jewell was ranked No. 526.
