U.S. News & World Report names Jewell 9th best college in Midwest

William Jewell College is among the top 10 Best Regional Colleges in the Midwest according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Colleges rankings.

Jewell placed ninth on the Regional Colleges in the Midwest list, the highest placement of any Kansas City-area college. Jewell was also named 13th in the region for Best Value Schools based on academic quality and cost of attendance. The magazine also named Jewell in a tie for 39th in the region for Top Performers on Social Mobility, which is based on enrolling and graduating large proportions of economically disadvantaged students awarded with Pell Grants.
