William Jewell completes nearly 72,000 service hours

The William Jewell College community continues to show its strong commitment to service by completing 71,958 hours of service in 2016-2017.

Students, faculty and staff completed projects in Liberty, Kansas City and across the globe, including extensive work in Honduras and Thailand as part of the College’s Village Partners Program. About 86 percent of the hours were related to the curriculum as service-learning hours or hybrid service-learning and community service.
