Admitted Student Day

Jewell’s premier event for admitted high school seniors provides an in-depth orientation to Jewell academics and activities. While on campus, students will have the opportunity to attend an academic class session with a professor, hear from a Jewell student panel, attend an activities and majors fair and choose from various optional housing tours at the end of the day. Parents and guests are welcome to attend this event. There will be separate sessions just for them including financial aid, student life and academic life at Jewell.

Spring Preview Day

Spring Preview Day is an opportunity for high school sophomores and juniors to explore what William Jewell College has to offer!  Your day on campus will include a campus tour, student and faculty interaction, college planning presentation and a meal in our campus dining hall!  Parents and guests are welcome to attend this event with their student. We look forward to seeing you!

Cardinal Day

Cardinal Day is your chance to enroll in your fall classes and is required for all new students!  You’ll meet one-on-one with a faculty academic advisor to build your class schedule, finalize your financial aid, take your I.D. picture, receive your Jewell email, and have the opportunity to ask any additional questions about beginning your Jewell Journey.

Individual Visits

Visit JewellHigh School Seniors & Transfer Students: During an individual visit you will be able to see firsthand what life is like at William Jewell. During the visit, you will have an opportunity to tour campus with a current William Jewell College student and meet with an admission counselor to talk about the application process and financial aid opportunities. You may request to meet with a faculty member and/or observe a class. (Faculty appointments and classes are available based on the professors’ schedules and with a week’s notice, Monday-Friday only).

High School Sophomores & Juniors: Learn more about William Jewell College by experiencing it for yourself.  You will have the opportunity to tour campus with a current William Jewell College student and meet with an admission counselor to talk about specific academic and co-curricular programs that align with your interests and pursuits.  You can also talk about the next steps in the college search and selection process.

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

Group Events

Visit JewellJewell welcomes high school organizations (grades 9-12) of all sizes to visit campus, Monday through Thursday. Each visit includes a tour of campus and a college planning session with one of our experienced admission counselors. You may also choose to have lunch on campus at your organization’s expense. Have a special request or specific program that you would like to incorporate into your organization’s visit?
