Admitted Student Friday

Visit Jewell Admitted students, please join us on campus to further explore how an education rooted in critical thought and experiential learning will benefit your career and more. During your visit, you will attend an interactive session with a professor featuring our Critical Thought and Inquiry curriculum, learn more about Student Life and extracurricular activities as a part of the Jewell student experience, tour Jewell’s beautiful and historic campus, and eat lunch in our Dining Hall while you visit with other students coming to Jewell! Parents and guests are welcome to attend and will have sessions scheduled especially for them, including a Financial Aid workshop. We look forward to hosting you on campus in April!

Spring Preview Day

Visit JewellHigh School Sophomores and Juniors – Learn more about our academic approach featuring applied critical thinking in a supportive campus community so you can determine if Jewell is the right fit for you. We will provide a tour of our beautiful and historic 200-acre campus located just 15 miles from downtown Kansas City. You will have the chance to interact with faculty members and students as they share their experiences. Attend a college planning session that will help answer some of your questions and assist in guiding your college selection process. Finally, enjoy a complimentary meal in our dining hall while you visit with other high school students considering Jewell.

Individual Visits

Spring Visit Information (January 23 – May 5)

Visit JewellDuring a spring individual visit you will be able to see firsthand what life is like at Jewell. Through the visit, you will have an opportunity to tour campus with a current Jewell student and meet with an admission counselor to talk about the application process and financial aid opportunities. By request, you can also observe a class and/or meet with a faculty member. (Faculty appointments and classes are available based on the professors’ schedules and with a week’s notice, Monday-Friday only).

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 9:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

In order to arrange a visit that is truly tailored to you, please provide seven days’ notice of your arrival to campus.

Group Events

Visit JewellJewell welcomes high school organizations (grades 9-12) of all sizes to visit campus, Monday through Thursday. Each visit includes a tour of campus and a college planning session with one of our experienced admission counselors. You may also choose to have lunch on campus at your organization’s expense. Have a special request or specific program that you would like to incorporate into your organization’s visit?
