Honoree Bios

  • Ashley Crosby Davidson

    Ashley Crosby Davidson joined Black & Veatch in 2024 as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. She spearheads the company’s global marketing strategy and supports commercial growth and client engagement.

    She most recently served as vice president and head of global marketing at Royal Philips, an $18 billion Dutch multinational company, with responsibilities of marketing for its global portfolio of emerging technology, healthcare and sustainability solutions powered by data science and artificial intelligence. Prior to that, she held marketing executive roles of increasing responsibility at Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Health) for 22 years, most recently serving as its vice president, integrated marketing and client experiences.

    Ashley earned a B.A. at in English and a B.S. in Public Relations from Jewell, as well as a Master of Science in Marketing Communications from the University of Kansas.

  • Jason Houseworth

    Jason Houseworth is the chief product officer at benefitbay, a Kansas City–based healthtech marketplace enabling personalized healthcare benefits for the modern workforce. Before joining benefitbay, he served as chief product officer at BacklotCars, the digital wholesale automotive marketplace that became Kansas City’s largest venture-backed exit when it was acquired by OPENLANE. Prior to BacklotCars, Jason was CEO of FanThreeSixty, a predictive analytics and fan engagement platform founded by Cliff Illig. 

    Earlier in his career, Jason was chief innovation officer at H&R Block, where he led product development for the omni-channel experience serving 21 million U.S. tax clients. He also served as General Manager of H&R Block’s digital tax business, which served 7.4 million clients and generated $234M in annual revenue. Prior to H&R Block, Jason held senior technology leadership roles at Swiss Re (formerly GE Insurance Solutions) and began his career in consulting at Andersen/Accenture. He is the inventor or co-inventor on 13 approved patents. 

    While at Jewell, Jason studied at Oxford University through the Oxbridge Honors Program. He also completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He currently serves on the Jackson Hewitt Board of Directors and has served on multiple civic and non-profit boards in Kansas City, including three terms on the Jewell Board of Trustees.

  • Kayron Parrish

    Commander Parrish hails from Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated from Northeast High school, earned a B.A. in Sports Management at Jewell, then commissioned through Navy Officer Candidate School in 2010. In 2015 he earned a Master of Arts in Leadership, Education & Development from the George Washington University and completed Joint Professional Military Education Phase I through the Naval War College in 2017.

    Afloat, CDR Parrish has deployed to the U.S. 5th (Middle East), 6th (Mediterranean Sea) and 7th (Japan) Fleet areas of responsibility. His shipboard assignments include Ordnance Officer aboard USS Stout (DDG 55); Auxiliaries Officer aboard USS Bataan (LHD 5), both homeported in Norfolk, Virginia. He also served as Operations Officer aboard USS Ashland (LSD 48), forward deployed in Sasebo, Japan; Executive Officer and Commanding Officer aboard USS Devastator (MCM 6), and Commanding Officer aboard USS Sentry (MCM 3), both forward deployed in Manama, Bahrain.

    Ashore, his assignments include 13th Company Officer and 3rd Battalion Executive Officer at the United States Naval Academy. CDR Parrish currently serves at the Pentagon in the National Military Command Center as a Presidential Strike Advisor and Assistant Deputy Director for Operations on the National Joint Operations and Intelligence Center watch floor.

    His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Navy & Marine Corp Achievement Medal and various other campaign and unit awards.
