Azadeh Rafizadeh, Ph.D.


Professor of Mathematics and Chair Core Curriculum, Data Science, Mathematics

Dr. Rafizadeh received her Ph.D. from University of California- Riverside in 2011. Her research areas are low dimensional topology and knot theory. Specifically, she is interested in using twisted Alexander polynomials to investigate fiberedness, virtual fiberedness, and the Thurston norm. Dr. Rafizadeh joined the faculty in 2012.
