What will I learn?

With our B.S. in business administration major you will master these skills:

  • Analytical Thinking – Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of how to access business and to critically analyze complex material in order to evaluate evidence, construct reasoned arguments and communicate both inferences and conclusions.
  • Multiple Framing – Students will be able to analyze individuals, systems, businesses and societies through multiple frames of reference.
  • Refective Exploration of Meaning – Students will have the ability to see things beyond utility and to wrestle with the self-re ective aspects of learning, to raise questions, recognize the humansideofbusiness andapproachthingsin an ethical manner.
  • Practical Reasoning – Students will learn to articulate how key theoretical principles can
    be used to explain individual, organizational and system processes to inform business policy, decision-making and practical approaches to human and business issues across multiple contexts.

Next stop: master's degree in sports management


Marco Antonio Martinez Lopez used his Journey Grant for a summer internship at the Western and Southern Open tennis tournament in Cincinnati. Marco is now collaborating with a fellow intern from China to start a company that will connect international athletics to U.S. colleges.

Cardinal Consulting


Students in Don Huntington’s Advanced Consulting Engagement course are real-world consultants, conducting research, identifying opportunities and developing strategic initiatives. This year’s project is helping VML Marketing and Advertising Agency make Russell Stover Chocolate more relevant to a younger audience.
