The innovative Music Education curriculum at Jewell offers you an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to thrive in the modern music classroom. We purposely offer coursework in Orchestra, Band and Choir and at all levels K-12 to every major, so when you graduate you are ready to enter the job market with real-world skills and a deep understanding of what it takes to be a successful music teacher in the 21st century. You will observe in schools as early as your first semester, and your experiences will build over the first three years to prepare you for an extensive student teaching experience during your senior year.
